Perks include: Indoor swimming pool with large hot tub,
Business Center with free printing, and Fitness Center. Note - The Hilton is two years old with an elegant feel about it. Three other hotels competed but could not match the rates and sparkle. The Destroyers Chapter did a commendable job in making the selection. Pastries in the Hospitality room will be furnished by John Dough Bakery.

Rooms: Rooms with king-size bed have walk-in showers; rooms with double beds have bathtubs with showers; handicap accessible rooms are available. Each room has complimentary internet access.

Tuesday: Registration and Welcome Party

Wednesday: White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers game at U.S. Cellular Field, home of the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball’s American League.

Thursday: Men’s Luncheon and Ladies Luncheon. Free afternoon to explore nearby Downtown Naperville/River Walk, Morton Arboretum, Naperville Children’s Museum, Chicago Museum Campuses, State Street Shopping, etc. We are looking into transportation to a nearby casino.

Friday: Excursion to The Navy Pier that jets out into the lake and is an Amusement Park with shops and fun things to do. Dinner onboard ship moored at the Columbia Yacht Club.

 Saturday: Memorial Service at Hotel. Afterwards we’ll visit nearby Cantigny Park and have lunch and then tour the spectacular 1st Division Museum. You will be captured by the life-like experiences of the soldiers fighting in WWI, WWII, Vietnam and Desert Storm.
