Our Reunion at Camp Lejeune and Eastern North Carolina
Members venturing to Jacksonville in January to recharge their Marine Corps batteries at the Division’s Birthdays know that that it can be a bit chilly in Eastern North Carolina. And as you have already read in this issue, quite a bit chilly. That all changes during the summer. The National Staff and the Division welcome you to share almost a week with them in August when it’s going to be a bit warmer, quite a bit warmer. Leave your heavy coats and earmuffs at home, grab your swim suits and snorkels--don’t forget the kids and grandkids--and come to eastern NC for a fun-filled, sun-filled reunion with your friends and the great Marines and Sailors of the 2d Marine Division. We have two hotels ready to book your reservations. Please tell them that you are with the Second Marine Division Association.
